Product Introduction

Gas-insulated Metal-clad Switchgear (GIS) uses a metal-enclosed housing as the carrier, filled with SF₆ gas as the insulation and arc-extinguishing medium, integrating core components such as circuit breakers, disconnectors, earthing switches, and busbars into a sealed integrated system. Suitable for 72.5kV-1100kV high-voltage and extra-high-voltage AC three-phase 50Hz power systems, it is widely used in key fields such as large power plants, extra-high-voltage substations, urban underground power grids, and rail transit, undertaking power control, protection, and transmission tasks. Compliant with GB 7674, IEC 62271-203, it features high reliability and extreme environment adaptability.

Product Features

High integration: SF₆ reduces spacing, area 1/5-1/10 of traditional equipment (ideal for constrained urban/underground use). Superior insulation/arc extinguishing: SF₆ offers 2.5-3x air’s insulation, 100x+ arc-extinguishing capacity for stable high-voltage operation and quick fault breaking. Environmental adaptability: Fully sealed, resisting harsh elements, reliable at -30℃~+50℃, high altitudes (≤4000m), coastal areas, with 10-15-year maintenance cycles. Safety/eco-friendly: IP67 enclosures prevent leakage/contact; SF₆ monitoring/recovery cuts emissions. Intelligent monitoring: Online systems collect real-time data, supporting remote communication and predictive maintenance.

Classified by voltage level (72.5kV, 126kV, 252kV, 550kV, 1100kV) for high to ultra-high-voltage grids; by structure (conventional: split modules for varied layouts; compact: optimized components, smaller volume for urban grids); and by insulating gas (pure SF₆: traditional, stable; SF₆ mixed gas: low content, eco-friendly, growing in use).
